INFANTS (6 WEEKS TO 12 MONTHS)

Our infant program is aligned to “Head Start School Readiness Goals for Infants” and offers complete support to our teachers to optimize the growth and development of the children in their care. The comprehensive infant program offers easy-to-use activities that optimizes opportunities to build strong foundations based on the latest early brain development of infants:

  • Cognitive Development

Children start to recognize and remember their surroundings through sensory activities (seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, tasting)

  • Social and Emotional Development

As children explore the world and interact with their friends, teachers, and families, they begin to express their emotions, demonstrate interest, curiosity, and eagerness.

  • Language Development

Children at this age are able to learn through sounds, music, oral language, and more. And they will use body language, smile, and make sound to try to interactive with adults.

  • Physical Development

Children begin to track objectives with their eyes, they will need to track with their eyes in order to perform hand and eye coordination tasks to develop their large and small muscles and control balance.

Our infant program has been designed to provide a safe, healthy, warm environment for babies to grow and develop. Since every child has a unique schedule at this age, our teachers will focus on satisfying their individual needs, making them feel comfortable, and working with them on age-appropriate activities and developmental needs.
